MultiCaf’s Warming Shelter: A Welcoming Space for Rest and Support in Côte-des-Neiges

Hot meals;
Snacks and beverages;
Shower facilities;
Information, guidance and support.
Separate spaces are available for women and men. Staff members and security personnel are present at all times.
Support that continues throughout the day
MultiCaf’s work goes beyond overnight services. During the day, the team continues to support individuals with various needs and démarches, including obtaining identification documents, accessing income assistance and healthcare, receiving mental health and addiction support, and seeking housing through the Vers un chez-soi program.
At the same time, the UMMI+ team continues its outreach work in public spaces seven days a week, connecting with people experiencing homelessness, offering support and helping foster positive community relations.
Together, these services provide support that goes beyond immediate needs.

A welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity
At MultiCaf, we believe that meeting essential needs also means offering a respectful welcome, listening without judgment and providing support that reflects each person’s circumstances.
The warming centre is part of this broader approach, where hospitality, food access and community-based outreach work together to support people experiencing homelessness.
