At MultiCaf, at the heart of food resources in Côte-des-Neiges, we believe it’s essential to offer more than emergency aid. Addressing food insecurity also means giving the community the tools to grow and better prepare for the future.

That’s why we inaugurated a new space in our cafeteria: the Coin-Info.

What is the Coin-Info?

The Coin-Info is a welcoming space equipped with a TV for presentations, high tables and chairs with outlets to plug in a laptop or phone. Located in the heart of our cafeteria, right at the entrance of the solidarity grocery store, this space was designed to provide everyone with easy access to information and training.

Here you’ll find:

• pamphlets from local organizations to meet your needs,

• a calendar of upcoming activities,

• and even a cozy spot to do your online research while enjoying a free cup of coffee!

  
  

A place to learn and share

Since its launch, the Coin-Info has already hosted several activities:

• job search workshops in collaboration with CJE CDN

• information sessions with Service Canada,

• and our ongoing collaboration with Bonhomme à lunettes (every Monday from 1 pm to 3:30 pm ) .

  
  

These events are free, accessible, and open to the entire community.

A space for future collaborations

We hope the Coin-Info will become a true hub for learning. We’re open to welcoming new workshops, whether with our current partners or with other organizations looking to provide practical tools for the community.
