UMMI

UMMI+ is a community outreach service that promotes social coexistence between people experiencing residential instability and the CDN-NDG social ecosystem.

OUR FOUR AREAS OF ACTION:

COMMUNITY-BASED INTERVENTION

Reaching out to people experiencing residential instability in public spaces, building trust, offering a listening ear, referrals and support.

SOCIAL COHABITATION

Strengthen collaboration between all stakeholders in the neighbourhood through dialogue and mediation.

FRONTLINE
SUPPORT

Respond to the immediate needs of people experiencing homelessness or residential instability.

NETWORKING

Work in coordination with organisations, public services, institutions and local resources.

Meet The UMMI+ Team

The UMMI+ team is made up of external socio-community workers who operate directly in public spaces in CDN-NDG. Their work aims to promote social cohabitation, strengthen ties between community stakeholders, and respond to the immediate needs of people experiencing residential instability.
