Each year, Nutrition Month serves as a reminder of the importance of a healthy and balanced diet. In 2025, the theme is “Eat Well to Thrive,” a vital message that resonates deeply at MultiCaf.
Healthy Eating for All
We see it every day: access to healthy nutritious food is what allows us to move forward with energy ! Through our solidarity grocery store, community cafeteria, and nomadic markets, we help thousands of vulnerable people access nutritious and affordable food. Whether it's for newcomers, students, job seekers, or families struggling to make ends meet, good nutrition empowers them to pursue their aspirations with energy and dignity.

The Importance of Food Education
Food education is at the heart of our mission. Last summer, we organized a fun activity with the youth from the Macdonald day camp to teach them how to put together a balanced plate and a healthy snack. Eating well doesn’t have to be complicated!
Here’s a simple rule to follow:
Half of your plate = fruits and/or vegetables 🥕🍓
The other half = grains & proteins 🍗🌾
For an energizing snack: pair a protein (for strength 💪) and a fruit or vegetable (for energy ⚡).
This Nutrition Month, let’s remember that healthy eating should be a right, not a privilege.
