🕒 Starting June 2, 2025, MultiCaf Extends Its Hours to Better Serve You!
We’ll now be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.
This change was made to better suit your schedule, improve access to our solidarity grocery store, and respond to the growing needs of our community.
Why Extend Our Hours?
The face of food insecurity is changing. In 2023, 1 in 4 Canadians — over 10 million people — experienced some level of food insecurity (Canadian Income Survey, 2023). And according to the 2024 Hunger Report by Moisson Montréal, nearly 20% of people who use food banks are employed.
Whether it’s a worker coming off shift, a student after class, or a family at the end of the day, MultiCaf wants to provide more accessible, inclusive, and dignified food support.
Our support staff will also continue to be available to help members work toward long-term solutions, addressing the root causes of food insecurity..
🍽️ New Complete Frozen Meals Now Available
In addition to our regular services, we’re introducing a new offer of frozen meals available at our solidarity grocery store. These meals are:
Offered in individual or family-size portions
Served with a dessert and a beverage
Available at solidarity pricing for members and regular pricing for non-members
It’s a simple, practical, and affordable way to eat well — even when time is tight.
☕ A Space to Heat and Eat On Site
While the cafeteria kitchen will be closed in the evening, you’ll still be able to enjoy a warm meal.
Microwaves and a coffee machine will be available so you can heat up your frozen meals and enjoy them on site or take them to go.
This new service is designed to offer more flexibility, dignity, and choice to everyone who walks through our doors.
