The story
Rehabilitated and maintained by MultiCaf since 2024, the rooftop market garden is more than just an urban garden: it is a community project designed to support vulnerable populations in the neighborhood.

The Rooftop Garden is accessible to everyone through the Maison de la Culture of Côte-des-Neiges !
Mission
All harvests from this green roof are distributed to the community through two initiatives:

Bibliofrigo: Located at the library entrance, this community fridge provides food to those in need.

MultiCaf’s Nomadic Market: This market distributes harvested produce throughout Côte-des-Neiges, ensuring access to fresh food for all residents.
Vision
Thanks to the commitment of the INARI Network, this rooftop has become a symbol of solidarity, sharing, and sustainability.
It also helps reduce urban heat islands and contributes to a greener, healthier environment for Côte-des-Neiges.
