About

Founded in 1989, MultiCaf's mission is to provide food aid, create social connections and seek resources for low-income people in the Côte-des-Neiges district.

​

By offering economical meals and various emergency food services, each year the organization allows hundreds of low-income individuals and families to continue to eat well, in addition to providing a place for meeting and socializing, often compensate for the feeling of loneliness and isolation they experience individually.

​

MultiCaf also has a social intervention service which gives advice, facilitates the search for resources and directs its members to organizations capable of meeting their needs.

​

In collaboration with universities and institutions, MultiCaf is regularly at the center of several research projects on social problems such as homelessness, housing, nutrition or urban agriculture. Among these projects, we will cite the baby milk formula distribution program.

​

With 35 years of existence, MultiCaf has significant experience in understanding the needs of Côte-des-Neiges residents and a strong bond with its members.
