All kinds of people use the food services offered by MultiCaf.
It could be someone like Paul, a man living on a low-income who comes to MultiCaf regularly. He buys a monthly meal card in order to have a daily lunch that is healthy, well-balanced and economical, allowing him to eat well and make ends meet at the end of each month.
Or it could be someone like Maria who heads her single-parent family. She comes to collect her monthly food basket, and at the same time, finds out about the collective kitchen, which she decides to take part in. There she meets other women who come from Canada and elsewhere, who will share their recipes and life experiences together.
Or, it could be one of many families that have only recently arrived in the country and have been referred to MultiCaf by one of the local community groups. These families will benefit from MultiCaf’s food bank assistance for several weeks or months while they get themselves settled.
